Description

Demand Generation Manager

Hi! I’m Thomas Paris, the Director of Marketing at PayShepherd. As our company continues to grow at a rapid pace, we are looking to expand our marketing team by adding a Demand Generation Manager.

This role presents a unique opportunity to scale and grow our demand generation program, playing a key role in shaping PayShepherd’s success. You’ll report to the Senior Director of Marketing  and you will collaborate with the marketing, business development and sales teams to successfully implement and launch new initiatives.

If you’re interested in reshaping the future of Heavy Industry - the backbone of our economy - then this position is for you!

About PayShepherd

PayShepherd is a software company that helps heavy industrial leaders bring a new level of efficiency and transparency to the way they manage their contractors.

The heavy industry is undergoing a significant shift, increasingly relying on vendors to thrive in a highly competitive environment. This trend is accelerating due to factors like labor shortages, inflation, and supply chain constraints that are driving the need for agility, efficiency and innovation. However, poor management of these vendor relationships leads to serious consequences, such as rogue spending and cost overruns, safety risks and a culture of mistrust. That’s why our founding team, seasoned in the heavy industry, created PayShepherd. Our AI-powered platform is purpose-built to specifically address these challenges and protect the crucial relationship between facilities and vendors.

With a growth rate that outpaces our expectations and a culture that encourages constant learning, we’re looking for the very best to join us. Come to work each day knowing that what you do matters. Be part of a team that's not just talented but also passionate, where data drives decisions and impact is real.

Responsibilities

  • You know your way around various outbound channels: email sequences, LinkedIn Sales Nav, conversational ads, direct mail,...
  • You understand ABM and know how to leverage intent signals coming from 1st and 3rd party data to increase reply rates.
  • You’ll own the ads strategy for your list of accounts with a focus on LinkedIn ads. You’ll write the ads briefings, launch the campaigns, analyze the data and proactively optimize for maximum results.
  • You’ll host or participate in webinars that are likely to attract individuals from the target accounts.
  • Demand gen is your first love, and revenue is your second. You love the creativity of launching campaigns that are highly relevant, but you're also curious and use data to guide your decision-making.
  • You’ll work closely with Biz Dev, Sales, and CS to align on accounts, messaging, and creative concepts.
  • You love tools and you’re always on the hunt for the best demand gen tools to reach peak personalization.
  • You prefer to win as a team. You like planning and strategy sessions designed to dominate the world - I mean, our market. But don't worry, we only meet when necessary. Be ready to meet with brilliant minds from Marketing, Sales and CS teams, and more.
  • You see the forest and the trees. In other words, you understand how demand gen impacts our entire company strategy plus the tactics needed to reach growth metrics.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience developing and implementing demand generation programs at high-growth B2B SaaS companies
  • Top notch, world-class writing skills (be prepared to share writing samples from past campaigns).
  • Demonstrated success leveraging various marketing channels to exceed ambitious goals
  • Experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies in an enterprise context
  • A data-driven mentality and an obsession for optimizing program performance
  • Leadership and people management experience
  • You’re very familiar with Hubspot
  • Bonus: you're familiar with the Procurement audience.

Benefits

  • Great compensation package and benefits, including a stock option program.
  • Work from anywhere in Canada.
  • Career growth opportunity in a growing, new technology early-stage company.
  • Excellent medical, dental, and vision plans designed to fit you and your family’s needs.
  • Flexible vacation time to promote a healthy work-life integration.
  • Autonomy and accountability.
  • New MacBook & accessories.

The fine print

  • PayShepherd has broad ambitions. We are highly adaptable and foster an environment where changes occur rapidly and consistently. You have to enjoy the challenge of constantly learning and growing in your role, and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen.
  • Our environment is suited for people who thrive in experimenting and figuring out the best way to do their work, and sharing those successes with others.
  • Your contributions will directly impact the growth and direction of the company.
  • We’re 100% remote and candidates should be legally entitled to work for a Canadian employer.
