Pipeline Manager


Hi, I’m Thomas Paris, Senior Director of Marketing at PayShepherd. As our company continues to grow at a rapid pace, we are looking to expand our marketing team by adding a Pipeline Manager.

In this role, you will have a seat at the table as a GTM leader for North America, in conjunction with the sales and marketing leadership, helping devise and execute pipeline growth strategies in alignment with the CRO. You will be responsible for driving pipeline growth, by directly leading a team of business development professionals, while helping sales build effective pipeline generation strategies across the region.  This role is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing.

As we continue to expand and disrupt the market, we are seeking a highly-skilled, creative Pipeline Manager to join our growing team. This role presents a unique opportunity to help build a state-of-the-art product that will make its mark in the heavy industrial world.  Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing, as an individual you will be part of a collaborative marketing team playing a key role in shaping PayShepherd’s success. As Pipeline Manager, you'll be instrumental in helping innovate how we drive pipeline growth and serving as the subject matter expert for pipeline generation and management across the company.

Responsibilities


  • Taking ownership of the Business Development pipeline and opportunity goals, while implementing effective prospecting strategies across Sales and Partner sources.
  • Building and executing a comprehensive sales funnel for new business prospecting within the region and relevant subregions. This involves identifying and mapping out buying journeys, decision-making units, and ideal customer profiles (ICPs).
  • Collaborating on the development of a cutting-edge prospecting tech-stack to enhance our outreach efforts.
  • Working closely with our Revenue Operations (RevOps) team to leverage data and insights for performance management across your teams.
  • Implementing world-class account-based prospecting methodologies within a customer-centric framework.
  • Leading the strategy development for inbound and outbound playbooks focused on pipeline generation and meaningful conversations.
  • Driving the GTM framework for lead and account qualification, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our outreach efforts.
  • Strategizing lead management platforms, sequence strategies, and exploring innovative prospecting tactics for sustainable growth.

Requirements


We’re seeking a leader with:
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in business development, sales development, or growth marketing within the B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, encompassing verbal, written, and active listening abilities.
  • Demonstrated drive, conscientiousness, and perseverance to conduct outbound contacts daily, fostering meaningful connections and opportunities.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented approach to achieving goals and driving success.
  • Experience that extends beyond "traditional" sales development, including proven expertise in global and regional markets with a strong track record in account-based practices.
